This laundry soap works great. Not a lot of suds so it's deceiving, but it gets the family laundry clean without the chemicals. I do use an oxygen booster from Branch Basics for clothing which helps with stains I'm sure and keeping the white items ~ white. The smell out of bottle is a clean lavendar scent, but not strong. I don't really notice a lasting scent on dried clothes using this soap alone, but that's okay. Often with clothing, I use two of the Clean People dryer sheets anyway ~ and it leaves a nice soft scent without the bad chemicals. However, I don't use a dryer sheet with towels and they still come out of the dryer very soft and non-static. That is not the case with a lot of non-toxic laundry products. This laundry soap is a win-win for my family.
