Until I can get a water softener, we use this with every load of dishes and it saves my glassware. After a few washings before using this product my clear glasses looked so cloudy you couldn't even see what was in the glass. A friend recommended I try this and it works really well. I still want a water softener for everything, but until then ... this works. Put the soap in first and put this in the area you normally snap the soap in.
