Rinse-aid liquid was leaking out of the detergent dispenser in my Kenmore Elite dishwasher, so I bought this as a replacement. The process was fairly straightforward, and it took me about 30 minutes. The leak is fixed, so I can use Jet Dry again without having to refill the dispenser every day or two.When I examined the old dispenser, I found that the plunger seal was dry and cracked on the tip, where it seats to form the seal that normally keeps the liquid in the reservoir from leaking out. It looks like a $5 seal if you can find one (I looked briefly and couldn't), so that would be a much cheaper fix if you're having the same issue on your Kenmore Elite or Whirlpool dishwasher.
