I was introduced to this detergent while staying at the Wyndham Resort in Clearwater. I liked it so much that I searched for it in stores. Only place I could find it is on Amazon.This is a great product and good for the environment. I hate the plastic wastefulness of other cleaning products. And the smell is fruity awfulness in products like Tide. This cleans clothes without phony fragrance and chemicals. A wonderful find (used in Lake Tahoe, where people care about the environment}I have used this product for a long time and I like it just fine. Amazon packaged it in a box with tax software and eye drops. The detergent box leaked and got all over everything. I called Amazon customer service and got the software and the eye drops replaced. She said she was filing the complaint and hopefully they will wrap the detergent boxes in plastic (which is how it came last time) and ship alone. When ordering this item, make sure you choose shipping that does not allow combining orders.I finally found a natural detergent that works well enough for our cloth diapers. My baby’s skin is so sensitive she was getting a rash from our old very scented detergent. This was a game changer. So very happy with it.Just received, and getting ready to return. I like this detergent a lot. But the box sent was not the 160 ounce box as described and shown in the photos. It is a 100 ounce box, just a few ounces over 6 pounds. Will reorder from another vendor.I have hard water (150 ppm) and use 1/4 of the manufacturer's recommended amount in an old school top-loader with an agitator and I get a good amount of suds. My initial use I used the recommended amount and my washer was very bubbly! We are on a septic tank and my research told me that a lot of suds are not good for the system. So when it is time to switch to an HE washer, I guess I will be using 1/8 of the recommended amount! I was hesitant to purchase this because it is $30 for just 10 lbs (I'm used to buying bulk at Costco), so I guess it is worth the money if I only need to use 1/4 of the recommended amount! I really had my doubts about this clean-formula detergent but I can see by looking at the dirty wash water that it is getting all the nasty stuff out of my laundry!! My light colored clothes had brown water and makes me wonder if the Seventh Generation I'd been buying was even working... that stuff is expensive too! I've yet to try them on cloth diapers, but I can't wait to try it! I'm trying to do right by the Earth with my daily consumerism; Happy Earth Day! ❤️?I just switched to this soap b/c I was tired of having two different soaps...one for clothes and one for cloth diapers. This stuff is amazing! It gets my clothes clean but more importantly...my diapers are CLEAN. I have been using it for 2 months now and I haven't had any ammonia problems or soap build up in my diapers.This soap is a lot cheaper to buy from the store....I get this same size box at a natural food store for a lot less...less than $10.Update: Still working great on my diapers.I have a LG front loader...this is my wash routine for my cloth diapers.Around 5 pm I start my wash routine. I usually wash every other day...because I have 2 in cloth diapers 15-20 diapers a load.First, I do a heavy duty cold water wash with no soap -1 hourNext, around 6 pm I put one scoop in the tub with the diapers and another half a scoop in the soap dispenser. I also add a cap full of vinegar to my fabric softener opening...be careful using vinegar make sure you check to make sure it is safe for your brand of diaper. I then do a sanitary heavy soil level wash with 3 extra rinses - 2.5 hoursThen around 9 I do a heavy duty Hot water wash with no soap - 1 hourThen before I go to bed around 10...I put the diaper covers on the drying rack and the inserts, prefolds or flats in the dryer on speed dry high heat for 60 minutes. That way when I wake up all the covers and insert/prefolds/flats are done.I like that Country Save is more environmentally friendly and that it doesn’t contain any extra stuff: no scent or optical brighteners or fabric softeners or miscellaneous chemicals meant to make your life easier that end up poisoning you and everything they touch. I like that it gets my clothes clean and takes away odors along with the dirt and stains. I started using it 8 years ago when I was cloth diapering my daughter. I used exclusively Country Save on her cotton prefolds and I never had to strip them and they never stank. That tells me this detergent is leaving as little residue as it’s possible to leave on the clothes it cleans, as well as actually helping to dissolve solid and liquid soil that’s caught in the fibers. I like all of that. Once I became convinced of this detergent’s efficacy and safety, I never stopped using it.This product arrived quickly and as described!Very satisfied.
